1997-2001 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea. 2001-2003 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to People’s Republic of China (2002-2003 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Mongolia concurrently). 2003-2005 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the USA.

Mykhailo Reznik was born on February 5, 1950. He graduated from the Faculty of Technology of Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics in 1972, after successful defending his thesis work “Sectoral automated management systems”. Subsequently, M. Reznik got thorough knowledge of political and economic sciences at the Leadership Academy and special course at the School of Business at Stanford University. In addition, he finished a two-year foreign language school in Washington, D.C.

1972-1993 - Worked in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine in executive positions, also he was the Head of Republican Production and Export-Import Associations.

1993-1994 - Deputy Minister, First Deputy Minister for Foreign Economic Relations of Ukraine.

1994-1997 - Head of the Trade and Economic Mission at the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA.

1997-2001 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea.

2001-2003 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to People’s Republic of China (2002-2003 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Mongolia concurrently).

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the USA (2004-2005 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Antigua and Barbuda concurrently, Representative of Ukraine in the Organization of American States).

2007 - President of the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association “UkrAutoprom”.
